Tala is a large suburban village situated 6 km north of Paphos, Cyprus, at an elevation of 290 meters above sea level. Tala experiences an average annual rainfall of around 520 millimeters, and the region supports the cultivation of grapevines (for both wine-making and table varieties), citrus fruits (including oranges and lemons), locust beans, olives, almonds, walnuts, cereals, forage crops, vegetables, and even a few banana trees. Livestock farming in the area is minimal.
