Tala

Tala is a large suburban village situated 6 km north of Paphos, Cyprus, at an elevation of 290 meters above sea level. It has become a popular location for non-Cypriots, particularly British residents, who have either permanently settled there or own summer homes. Located 1 km to the north is the Agios Neophytos Monastery.

Tala experiences an average annual rainfall of around 520 millimeters, and the region supports the cultivation of grapevines (for both wine-making and table varieties), citrus fruits (including oranges and lemons), locust beans, olives, almonds, walnuts, cereals, forage crops, vegetables, and even a few banana trees. Livestock farming in the area is minimal.
